for the MCAT
What exactly is the MCAT? The MCAT
is a standardized test designed not
only to measure knowledge and
cognitive stills, but also to
predict a student's success in
medical school. The test covers
subject matter including Biology,
Chemistry (inorganic and organic),
and Physics. Skills tested include
critical thinking, verbal reasoning,
and expository writing. The MCAT
emphasizes the humanities along with
social and natural sciences. The
verbal reasoning section of the test
is devoted exclusively to these
topics. If you are interested in
medical school you must take the
MCAT and you must perform well.
